Privacy Policy
How we handle your information.
This policy explains what information Geekshark may collect through this website and how that information may be used.
Last updated: October 11, 2026
1. Overview
Geekshark respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we may collect, use, store, and protect information submitted through our website, contact forms, email links, and related communication channels.
2. Information we may collect
We collect information you choose to provide when you contact Geekshark.
The project inquiry form asks for:
- First name (required)
- Last name (optional)
- Email address (required)
- Company name (optional)
- Type of help needed (required)
- Project details or inquiry information (required)
The form does not ask for a phone number.
If you contact us by email, WhatsApp, phone, or chat, we receive the information you choose to provide through that channel. Opening the chat window does not send a message by itself.
3. How we use information
We may use information you provide to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Discuss a potential project or support need
- Communicate with you about your request
- Provide information about Geekshark services
- Improve our website and communications
- Maintain appropriate business records
Sending a project inquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Newsletter signup is not currently available on this website.
4. Website analytics
Geekshark uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website and to improve its content and performance.
Google Analytics does not load until you explicitly accept analytics cookies. Before you make a choice, or if you reject analytics cookies, the website does not send analytics measurements to Google.
If you accept analytics cookies and later turn them off, Google Analytics stops measuring further activity on that page, and it does not load on pages you visit afterward. Turning analytics off does not remove information that may already have been received.
Analytics information may include pages visited, general website activity, device and browser type, referring pages, and approximate location. Do not include sensitive or confidential information in website forms or messages.
5. Service providers and communication channels
Geekshark uses service providers to operate parts of the website and respond to inquiries.
HubSpot processes a project inquiry when the contact form is successfully submitted. HubSpot also supports website chat. Opening chat may load HubSpot before you send a message, but opening the window does not send a message by itself.
Google processes website analytics only after you accept analytics cookies.
If you contact Geekshark through WhatsApp, your message is also processed by WhatsApp. Email and phone providers process communications sent through those channels.
6. Data security
We use reasonable measures to protect information submitted to us. However, no website, email system, or online transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Your choices
You can use Cookie preferences to accept, reject, or change your analytics and marketing cookie choices.
Essential cookies and similar storage remain enabled because they support basic website functions and remember your cookie preferences.
Turning analytics off prevents Google Analytics from loading on later pages. It does not remove information that may already have been received.
You may contact Geekshark at hello@geekshark.com if you want to ask about information you previously provided.
8. Third-party links
This website may include links to third-party websites or services. Geekshark is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.
9. Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy can be sent to hello@geekshark.com.
10. Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
